The end of the year is near and the festive season has officially begun! I love this time of year – the weather, the people out and about, and spending time with friends and family. It doesn’t get much better.
I like to take this time to reflect and review the goals that we have achieved throughout the year. Celebrating these achievements with the Ledge team and those who we have worked with is something that is extremely important to me.
As many of you know, Ledge has been around for over four decades and we would not be where we are today without the continual support from all of those surrounding us.
I can honestly not believe how much business has changed in the past 40 years – from having our first fax machine to automation and robots – now I’m really showing my age!
I have learnt many things over the years and one point that has stayed with me is knowing how much the people within an organisation contribute to the overall success of the business. They provide the vision, innovativeness and motivation which keeps it alive, along with the knowledge and skills that give you a competitive advantage.
I thoroughly enjoy watching and admiring the true passion and drive that the Ledge team encompass and I could not be happier to close off another year with them. They are not only business like, but they understand the needs of each individual client and will go above and beyond to add value to their business. Which leads me onto a philosophy that I have held since I started Ledge and something that I continue to believe: people in business should strive to be the best – strive to be profitable, strive to be professional and strive to be reputable.
And remember it’s a marathon, not a race.
