Collecting Information
Before we provide you with any credit services we are required to collect or have access to personal information about you and any guarantors. This information will be required to assist in preparing a loan assessment and loan application. If your information is not provided we will not be able to assist you.
The Use and Disclosure of Information
We will use your personal information we collect to provide you with the required credit service and to manage, administer and enhance the service provided. From time to time, we may communicate additional information to you such as updates or information about products or services deemed relevant to your needs. Where the information is for marketing purposes and is not relevant to your needs, you will be given the opportunity to elect not to receive any further communications.
Where we obtain personal information from you or any guarantor, we will ask you and the guarantor to sign a Privacy Authorisation which outlines in detail what we can do with this information. This will include disclosing the information to lenders, mortgage insurers, valuers, lawyers and others to help us provide our services and arrange a finance facility for you.
Your information may also be released to the Australian Securities & Investments Commission or any other governmental agency if required by law or to a court if required by Subpoena.
Credit reports may be obtained about you from a credit reporting agency, in connection with the establishment of your financial facilities.
We will ensure that personal information provided by you and any guarantors is current when utilised for the purposes of arranging a finance facility.
